Jamie joined Kubrick’s leadership team in March 2019 in order to help develop and execute Kubrick’s strategy and market positioning. He manages financial reporting and oversight and the approach to risk, systems, processes, and controls, whilst ensuring that management information is supported by data-driven insights. He is a champion of our mission, recognising that the evolution of next-generation technologies outstrips the capabilities of traditional education pathways when teaching the skills required to address today’s business challenges.
Jamie is a chartered accountant, having qualified in the audit practice at PwC. There, he worked predominantly with global businesses in the Consumer and Industrial team before moving into transaction support engagements, where he advised on finance processes, due diligence, and funding. In his subsequent role as a Director in the corporate advisory team at the investment bank Numis, he gained extensive experience in working with the boards of companies to facilitate business-critical decision making. He advised on a wide range of finance processes, fundraising, M&A, and investor relations for technology and tech-enabled businesses of all maturities from growth stage to FTSE 100.
Jamie’s expertise is integral to managing Kubrick’s continued growth and development. Kubrick's differentiated business model is able to add skills to the ecosystem so as to encourage long-term and strategic client relationships, enhancing a business model which is already inherently robust by design. He sees Kubrick's established position as a leader in the market as testimony to the quality of the organisational structure, which solidifies us as an enduring part of the skills solution as economies migrate towards the workforce of the future.
Kubrick is an inspirational business. It is addressing the skills emergency in a truly differentiated way that benefits all parties and applies globally.Jamie Lillywhite, Chief Financial Officer
