Unveiling insights, inspiring change

The below statistics, which have been taken from our most recent survey, place us well above the industry averages for ethnicity and gender according to the latest reports from Tech Talent Charter and in the top quartile of tech companies for diversity.Diversity is only part of the story however. It’s also our goal to ensure that members of our team find acceptance, belonging and community, can bring as much of themselves to work as they choose and benefit from the same access to opportunity and development as their colleagues.

Our gender pay gap report

We are committed to addressing the gender pay gap in the tech industry and continue to hold it at the forefront of our decision-making when it comes to the hiring, development and promotion of women across all levels of our organisation.

Our communities and networks

Our communities and networks create a safe space for the members of our team and allies to connect with others who share similar experiences and to discuss the issues that affect them as individuals and employees.

Diversity Champions

Our Diversity Champions are a group of volunteers made up of HQ employees and Consultants in both the UK and US. This group meets regularly to discuss all aspects of diversity, equity and inclusion and make recommendations for improvements at Kubrick.

The Working Parents Network

Our community for parents or anyone with responsibility for the care of a child or children of any age, those hoping to become parents, and allies. The aim is to create a safe and intentional space for members of the network to share experiences and tips and discuss the various challenges of being working parents.

Mental Health First Aiders

At Kubrick, your mind matters to us. Our Mental Health First Aiders are integral for supporting employees on how to work in ways that allow them to prioritise and manage their mental health within a professional environment. They are a first port of call for someone undergoing or at risk of experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis, and their training allows them to safely and responsibly provide confidential guidance as to how to access necessary resources for treatment and/or support.

In addition to our internal networks, we have a variety of external partnerships and commitments with organizations that are also striving towards building a better and more inclusive space for all.

Neurodiversity in Business (NiB)

Neurodiversity in Business (NiB) is an industry forum to support the participation of neurodivergent individuals in the workplace and ensure greater workplace inclusion for the community. They aim to create awareness as to the benefits and strengths of neurodiversity in the workplace, support and empower the neurodivergent, and educate the neurotypical on the importance of allyship and understanding neurodiverse colleagues.

Driving workplace inclusion for the neurodiverse community is a key focus of ours and we’re proud to be corporate members. Partnerships, like the one we have with NiB are crucial to enabling us to develop our action plan and deliver meaningful change across the organisation.

ENEI

The Employer’s Network for Equality and Inclusion (enei)

We are proud to be members of enei, the leading employer network promoting equality and inclusion in the workplace. By partnering with enei, we are taking proactive steps to create a more equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. As members we gain access to a wealth of expertise, resources, and networking opportunities that empower us to drive meaningful change within our organisation and foster a culture of belonging for all our employees.

Women in Data (WID)

We are proud partners with Women in Data (WID), an organization that gives professionals at all levels a platform to share their knowledge and experience, whilst helping businesses such as ours embrace and develop the enormous advantages generated by gender diversity.

Since partnering, we have taken part in numerous flagship events, participated in roundtables, run internal events, and more, which have helped us reach a wider audience of women across technology and build worthwhile connections.

The Halo Code

Here at Kubrick, we have always celebrated and welcomed Afro-textured hair worn in all styles and have taken steps to make it official by adopting The Halo Code as part of our continuing commitment to diversity and inclusion. Adopting the Halo Code is a signal not only to our internal employees but to those who are thinking about joining Kubrick that they don’t need to change who they are and how they present to thrive at work and are welcome to bring their authentic selves to work.

Overcoming barriers, together

We're on a mission to create accessible opportunities in next-gen tech. In addition to our core model, which helps individuals from a variety of backgrounds break into the field and accelerate, we have partnered with organizations that specialize in running internships for people from minoritized backgrounds. These internships offer a crucial pathway for individuals to gain practical skills, build confidence, and establish networks which are essential for breaking down barriers, and we are proud to be a part of it.

10,000 Black Interns

In July 2023, we ran our first internship program via 10,000 Black Interns, a scheme that creates opportunities for underrepresented talent in partnership with multinational corporations, professional firms, ambitious start ups, and public bodies. Our model already supports career acceleration and launching the internship programme in partnership with 10,000 Black Interns gives us another opportunity to contribute further to early careers development whilst upholding our strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
