01

Will I be required to commit a certain amount of time to the programme?

You will be required to remain with us for the full duration of the 2.5-year development period, in return for the salaried training. This will be outlined to you in the training agreement prior to you signing any form of contract.

02

Will I be assigned to a client immediately after training?

As a consultancy, we are driven by demand, and this means there may be periods where we are demand constrained. During these times, it may take us longer than normal to place you with a client and you may experience extended periods on the bench. However, we are continuously enhancing the bench experience to ensure you get the most out of your time between client placements.

03

Can you provide details regarding the exact training syllabus?

Our training syllabus is continuously updated to reflect the market, meaning we can’t always provide full details of the four-month training period in advance.

04

What happens if I don’t pass the training?

The initial four-month training period is intense, and you won’t automatically pass. Instead, you will be required to pass a series of assessments throughout the four months which are designed to test your knowledge and abilities, plus an additional assessment post-training. If you fail to pass the assessments, your contract with Kubrick will be terminated, however you will not be expected to repay any of the costs associated with the program (as outlined in the training agreement).

05

What if I can’t commit to the full four months of training?

You will be expected to be available for the full length of the initial four-month training period as there is a lot to cover in a short duration, and any content missed during your absence will need to be covered in your own time whilst you are learning the new materials. Time off may be allowed however you must obtain approval from a member of Kubrick beforehand.

06

Do I get to choose my own client placement?

Your client will be assigned to you by Kubrick rather than self-selecting your own client. We also have clients in various locations meaning you may not be placed within an organisation or industry that you would have selected and must be willing to relocate for a role. Whilst we take your preferences into account regarding client placement, we will decide your placement based on demand and where we think you are best suited.

07

Will I need to interview for my client placement?

You will be required to interview for your client placement, however we will help you prepare for it.

08

Will I have to find my own client placement?

We will identify clients for you to interview with and handle all elements of the client placement. All you will need to do is interview for it.

09

What happens when I first begin my client placement?

When you begin your client placement, it will be your responsibility to ensure you get to know the organisation, understand the clients’ needs and desires, understand your role, and the team you will be working in. Although our Consultant Success team will be available to support, it will be your responsibility to ensure you hit the ground running from day one.

10

Will I follow my clients’ working hours or Kubrick’s working hours whilst on site?

Whilst on client placement, your hours and work culture etc will be dictated by the client rather than by us.

11

Will I work with the same client throughout the 2.5-year period?

During the program, you may rotate from one client to another. This decision may be led by you or your client, for any number of reasons.

12

Who is responsible for my ongoing development post-training?

It’s your responsibility to seek out development opportunities and forge your own career path within Kubrick. You will need to make it known to your line manager where you would like to take your career, rather than expecting it to be mapped out for you.
