Jay joined Kubrick in January of 2021 to continue in his work to solve the growing skills gap in data, AI, and cloud technology. His passion for technological education is derived in its opportunity to solve the biggest challenges for businesses and individuals alike, from healthcare to climate change. He recognises the power of diversity in the digital revolution, which is embedded at the heart of our mission.
Jay began his journey in education after graduating from the University of Nottingham with a first-class degree in History, when he completed the Teach First training programme. After a decade in teaching and educational organisation, he founded the Logic Studio School in 2015, a free institution which specialises in Computing Technologies and Business in tandem with the National Curriculum. As Principal, Jay delivered the school’s aim to equip young people from challenging socio-economic backgrounds with the digital skills to thrive in tomorrow’s workplace.
Jay utilises his extensive experience and personal interest in addressing emerging digital skills crisis as he builds our technology partnerships and leads our relationships with our client base in the United States of America. As a member of our leadership team, he works to develop the Kubrick vision to meet the everchanging needs of our clients, consultants, and partners in a mutually beneficial alliance which can drive transformation at scale.
As a society we simply must build a workforce that can embrace and build upon the opportunities of digital transformation and not be threatened by it.Jay Lockwood, Head of Channel Alliance
