Our Story

We were founded in the UK in 2016 by CEO Tim Smeaton and CCO Simon Walker. As business partners of 20+ years in talent solutions, they established Kubrick in response to the growing skills gap in next-generation technology. In creating a model which could build its own workforce of expertly trained tech professionals, Kubrick has expanded into 6 unique practices across the data, AI, and cloud ecosystems and trained over 2,000 professionals. Kubrick has featured as one of the fastest growing companies in Europe according to the Sunday Times and the Financial Times and launched its North American arm in 2022.

Our Next-Gen Consulting model is powered by the workforce we grow ourselves – and who can go on to become our clients’ future tech leaders.
Greater diversity of thought in tech prevents harmful biases and empowers new approaches to drive value. We increase accessibility and diversity in tech by training professionals from all backgrounds. Every Kubrick consultant completes our immersive, 15-week training programs, which include a full-time salary so they can focus on their development.
