Hear from consultants across the various practices
Isabel Becker
Data Management Consultant
I studied English Literature at The University of Leeds. Coming from a non-stem background, everything I am learning at Kubrick as a Data Management Consultant is new to me. For the first time, I am being taught how to code, about current industry-standard data management software, and about digital compliance, all whilst strengthening my communication, presentation, and comprehension skills.
Oscar Hansen
Data Product Consultant
I joined Kurbick as a Data Product Consultant in February 2020. Prior to this, I studied Music at The University of Oxford. Kubrick are committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere for everyone, focusing on ethnic diversity, representation of women, and mental health. Without the 15 weeks of training, I probably would never have learned coding from scratch, but now I feel like a confident coder in both Python and SQL.
Nikita Mandavia
Data Management Consultant
I joined Kubrick as a Data Management Consultant after graduating from Loughborough University with a master’s degree in Physics. The Kubrick team is highly diverse and supportive - people come from all kinds of academic and professional background and are always ready to offer advice and perspective to help consultants ease into the workforce.
Tom White
Data Management Consultant
I graduated in 2017 from the University of Exeter with a degree in Mathematics and worked for RBS. I joined Kubrick in March 2019 as a Business Data Analyst. I was inspired by the great clients, in-depth training and the scale of Kubrick’s growth. Kubrick has given me the opportunity to progress in entirely new avenues, of which, I previously would not of been able to scratch the surface of.
Anya Vithlani
Data Engineer
I recently graduated from the University of Birmingham, where I studied History. Prior to joining Kubrick as a Data Engineer, I didn’t have any coding experience. I love data because of the continual learning and development opportunities. The training kickstarted my capabilities and I’ve had ongoing support from Kubrick and my client to help me develop both technically and professionally.
Ezra Kirk
Data Product Consultant
I studied Natural Sciences at the University of Bath, prior to joining Kubrick in 2020. Training to become a Data Product Consultant was very broad. It has made me data literate and a developed a variety of “soft” skills that I use every single day when dealing with colleagues and stakeholders. Plus, It’s a great feeling to “stumble” across an insight after playing with some data.
Florence Instone
Data Management Consultant
Studying Human, Social and Political Sciences at The University of Cambridge, I certainly didn’t come from a traditional STEM background. I joined Kubrick as a Data Management Consultant, with some background in coding. Kubrick really helped me develop a technical mindset in order to solve code-based, detailed problems. The opportunities for learning and personal development over the course of a two-year period are an exciting proposition.
Nil Bozhurt
Data Engineer
Before joining Kubrick as a Data Engineer, I completed my final year of Imperial College London University, studying Biochemistry with Management. I was eager to work in a role which used data to make better business decisions to drive success. I was inspired to join Kubrick, where inclusion and diversity in the workplace is something I value substantially, along with Kubrick's unique training program offers which is unrivalled.
Kate Brooks
Prior to starting at Kubrick I graduated in 2020 from the University of Leeds having achieved an MPhys Theoretical Physics. Throughout my degree I began to understand that data holds countless insights into the innerworkings of our industries and behaviours, which was one of the main reasons why I decided to join Kubrick. The training at Kubrick was a fast paced and interesting 4 months and was only possible with the support of all the trainers.
Beata Dunne
Data Engineer
Prior to joining Kubrick, I completed my undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of York. The Kubrick training process has enabled me to build a broad skillset of both soft and technical skills. Mixing theoretical teaching with practical exercises helps deepen our understanding of technical and business concepts. The teaching was supported by project work, designed to test our organisation, teamwork, and prioritisation/distribution of tasks whilst applying our skills.
