Teaching the Digital Future with Microsoft

Kubrick collaborates with Microsoft to deliver a voluntary education initiative, the Digital Future program, live in schools.

Kubrick has collaborated with Microsoft’s EduConnect team to deliver a series of educational outreach days designed to educate and inspire students interested in careers in data, AI, and technology.

Using content from Microsoft’s Digital Future program, Kubrick consultants worked directly with students to provide hands-on learning experiences and practical insight into the technology industry. The sessions focused on building foundational digital skills while highlighting real-world career pathways.

Joanna Bottino-Jones, Partner Alliance Director at Kubrick, commented:

“Reaching students early in their career journey is critical. By working with Microsoft, we are able to provide practical learning experiences that help young people understand the opportunities available in technology and feel confident pursuing them.”

The program also provided valuable development opportunities for Kubrick consultants, who delivered the sessions as part of their training program with support from senior leaders. This enabled consultants to strengthen their leadership, communication, and presentation skills while contributing to social impact initiatives.

Stefania Constantin, Kubrick consultant, shared:

“Teaching students was an incredibly rewarding experience. It allowed me to share my knowledge while developing the skills I use every day when working with clients.”

The pilot was delivered in partnership with Business Education Events, Waltham Forest Council, and the Mayor of London and received strong feedback from participating schools.

Farhan Mukadam, Pathway Leader at Sir Monoux College, said:

“The training was engaging, relevant, and aligned with our curriculum. Kubrick consultants brought the subject to life and motivated students to explore data and technology.”

A student from Leyton Sixth Form added:

“These sessions helped me better understand the career opportunities available to me.”

Through this collaboration, Kubrick continues to support digital inclusion, social mobility, and early-career development. The company plans to expand the program to reach more students across the UK in partnership with Microsoft.
